Having clocked the Air valves on the tyres [carrera Fury ] A different design from the standard run of the mill type valves that are common with bikes that I remember .. And the pump that I have won't fit the valve .. so now am having to buy a new pump .. I should have asked at the time when I picked the bike up from the shop It never dawned on me at the time to ask ..
This is similar to the one I have ... which doesn't fit

Would this fit

or this one

I take it you have presta valves... you need a presta compatible pump.
The 1st one you posted would work..0 -
You can buy an adapter for a couple of quid from a bike shop, if you buy a new pump, buy a mini pump, that way you can take it with you when you're out riding (just in case you get a flat). and pretty much all mini pumps do both valves, just have to switch the internals).
