been to gisburn three times but dont recognise these areas

    It`s the downhill section, it`s a separate section to the red route.

    To get to it, when you get to the top of the steep climb (after the volunteer built section) you turn left onto another fireroad. If you follow this road, usually you turn off to the right up into the quarry, go past this trailmarker carry on the fireroad and you can`t miss it. The drop in part looks a little different as the trees have now been felled but the big double is still as is in the video.

    Take a full face as it`s not for the faint hearted!!

    Scares the willies out of me. At least they left the tree stumps high (about six foot) when they felled the area.
    It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.
