Yes, was there a couple of weeks ago. Really nice chap, clearly knows his stuff and very enthusiastic about what he does.
I had the fitting and shoes and cleats service and was very pleased with the results.
Basically I had bought a s/h bike in March not having riddenn for years.
I rode 500 miles on this machine trying all sorts of positions and things to get comfortable. I had pain in my shoulders, numb hands and an aching neck after just a few miles, it was putting me off riding.
I read lots of articles about bike fit and just got confused so I figured I needed professional help as I didn't know if the frame was the wrong size etc.
I found Bike dynamics in my searching for information and went to get a fitting.
The result was that we shortened the stem from 110 to 85, raised the saddle slightly and changed the seatpost to an inline one to get the saddle forward enough.
Now I have a setup that I feel I can use.
The part that I found most useful is that it uses video so you can actually see yourself riding and each change made you can see the difference as well as feel it.
The whole session was a real education for me and was broken down into sections so we worked on one area at a time, gradually honing the position to the best fit possible.
Yes it costs a fair bit of money, but to me it was worth it as I now know that I hve the best position possible and also have the information to size a new frame should I wish to get one in the future.
Someone who has ridden for years may not need such a service but that is for the individual to decide for themselves. I was very happy with the session and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.0 -
