It's still covered in snow & ice, so one of the trailbuilders told me.

Went there with a mate today. Trails are still closed (had a ranger talk to us asking what we were gonna do), so my mate & I mostly stuck to the fire roads (used the odd red route section).

There's still good covering of snow up there. It's damn good fun on the snow covered fireroads, though!

Gonna go back on Friday I think. (hopefully try find the riding glasses I lost today)
  • Fingers crossed conditions will be OK for the weeked. Temps are up a little.

Pics from my lasy snowy ride in Dalby on the 19th December below.

  • Just wondering if anyone has tried any sections of the red trail in the last couple of days? I'm hoping to ride at Dalby this weekend!!

Gonna head out for a night ride tomorrow and do a full day on sunday. Been far too long since the weather let me ride so gotta make up for it!!

Didnt bother with first half went on the fire roads over 2 dixons hollow but people said it was ok.
Did the rest it was fine a bit of icey snow here and there but nothing to really slow you down apart from that it was just muddy
a couple of sections were closed but you just work your way round them. the section just before the road at the end was shut but if you know your way about you can still get onto the road to do the last section without biking back up from the sawmill.
  • Guys,
