I think Jesus may be fighting a losing battle here, but hey ho.

He's been proved correct about everything else he's said but I tend to agree0

Manzano is a lone voice with little support. Valverde is rich, one of the leading riders in the world and backed by the Spanish Federation if not the government.
Regardless of who is right, guess who will win?0 -

Could be rather entertaining, if Valverde had any sense he would just issue a denial and keep his head down.0

it is because of this bullsh*t scenario of whistleblowers getting sued, abused, spat at and made to feel like outcasts is why I think the UCI needs a total change of leadership.
McQuaid = useless0 -
good question - there are lots of grass routes adminstrators / helpers in cycling all across the world, that work with their federatins for free.
But if you want to get a professional who (a) knows the game and (b) might be willing to kick some butts, well then I would go for some one like - Pat Hickey - president of the Irish IOC, very outspoken character, or from within the sport and who is anti-doping maybe that German who got kicked off the board of the UCI becasue she asked too many awkward questions.0 -

It will be interesting to see if he actually carries out the threat to sue. Announcing you'll sue, and then keeping you head down is the fancy version of your suggestion...0 -
think this problem highlights how stupid it is to have the national associations carry out the drugs tests. Why on earth would they want to find Valverde guilty with he is one of their top riders0

I think he has done a lot for cycling by calling out all the fakers and dodgers out there.0 -
