I'm doing a bit of planning,& trying to get some affordable accomodation near Bruges,to see the Tour of Flanders, this Easter
(I'm hoping to roll in sightseeing in bruges on the sat with the family, then follow the race on the sunday)
I'm more accustomed to France,& the Budget hotels such as Formula1,but can't see anything as affordable
If anyone has any suggestions for B&B's (or budget hotels)nearish to bruges,I'd very much appreciate it
(am looking for 2 rooms,as there are the 5 of us)
Thanks in advance
so many cols,so little time!

  • Last year I stayed in Hof Ter Kammen. It was amazing. We turned up and we were picked up from the station by Hilde (owner) she took us back gave us a beer and then said we could come with their family to watch the race.

It was amazing. Especially as the Norwegian under 23 womens team were also staying there and some dutch MTB squad. I could drool all day...over the bikes of course.

The B&B has cycling memrobillia all over the place, it's very very close to the Koppenberg, breakfast is amazing and the owners and family are lovely people.

If we weren't so broke this year we were going to go back and also go to Paris-Roubaix with them.

    Great price as well.

  • Oh and the room we stayed in was the Kwaremont!!! They are all named after parts of the race.
