BB Size confusion

Where are my stabilisers?

Hi, can somebody please tell me how to measure BB size :roll:

I know I need a square taper BB 68mm, but I don't know what length I need. I'm putting together a cheap bike with mainly old parts and a new frame. So, I don't know what size to fit.

measure the width of the shell 68 or 73mm

axle length depends on what the cranks are

It depends on the crank you use, google yours & you should be able to find it out. Sheldon Browne has a page with a lot of the cranks/sizes on.
