Gore coated cables.....

Are these ok to use with sram x-9 shifters and avid bb7 brakes...? I am assuming that they are thicker in diameter than regular inner cables.

they're a bit of a pig to get into the shifter, my X.0's were a pain, but they work fine. Brakes I don't know about.
