The winter rebuild is now complete - almost. Its ready to ride and rides well.

A Rebuild - Santa Cruz Chameleon frame. Nice hard tail bike, fast. It has shiny new SRAM X0 front and rear, SLX double with bash, wellago peddles, Thompson 70mm stem for control, Hayes Stroker Gram front and back 160mm, Mavic cross ride wheels, 120mm travel Fox forks with lock out and a screw through axle, Easton monkey bars and race face grips.

Should be a fast trail bike. I got fed up with lugging 140mm / 160mm travel bikes so this machine will now be my local trail of choice bike with the bigger stuff coming out when travelling.

Very happy with it. New saddle likely payday and I think a set back seat post to elongate the c-pit would be nice. Just that saddle, looks crap, but money has run out til payday....!

I think you should spray paint the forks a different colour ...

Also that section just below the handle bars is big enough to paint sharks teeth or with some wording such as "CUSTOMISED BY PETE , .. and the in the lettering of santacruz a different colour so it stands out from the white .. background
