Strada wireless not working with magicshine light - SOLVED

Sorry if this has been posted before.

I have recently had a problem where when my magicshine is on, my speedo stops working.

This morning I tried mounting the battery pack on my top tube and this seems to have solved the issue.

I would assume from this that the battery pack is the source of interference with the wireless signal. However the range of the interference is short so mounting it ~15 cm from the speedo is enough.

Trek superfly 7 (Summer XC)
Giant Yukon singlespeed conversion (winter MTB/Ice/snow)
