Ladies MTB Jackets - recommendations??
Hello all,
my girlfriend is after a rather more 'gnarly' waterproof jacket for mountain biking than the current Berghaus jacket that she also uses for commuting.
Any recommendations?
Does not need to be packable, ie we have montane shells already, looking for something a bit more heavy duty and waterproof, and also pit zips would be useful, and removable arms could be handy as well I guess.
Any info on how you found the sizing would be useful as well.
Budget - probably up to £60 for the right jacket, not worried about high viz yellow, in fact preferred not to be, but some reflective strips would not hurt.
I currently use a dhb amberley which I get on with very well, and was a bargain at wiggle before christmas, ended up getting it for around £10 with the winter kit deal and money off codes they had at the time.
Cheers
Dan

I use an Altura Sirius jacket which is a bit over the price range you mentioned and doesnt have pit zips or removable arms. It's a good jacket though and has some nice non girly detail when you see one for real. Tough heavy duty jacket (I know, I've crashed int it!), apparently breathable, windproof etc.0
