That's nothing, I'm reworking the entire of the 2003 Luz Ardiden stage by landscaping various locations in the Lake District national park.

I'm hiring a voodoo witchdoctor to bring Coppi back from the dead so I can see how I shape up against him in the Vigorelli replica velodrome I have built in my bedroom

I imagine after 40 years plus in the ground he looks a bit more like his brother...

Are you going ot let him ride a modern bike?

He can ride what he likes, but I'll be on the commisaires' backs to make sure not one of his bones breaks the 3 x 1 aero rule.

  • The cobbled Paterberg (Tour of Flanders) was actually built by a farmer so he could have the race coming through his land!

Also a bit of the Green Eyed Monster I think, because his neighbour / friend lived on the Koppenberg.

My sister's got a bit of land that would suit a cobbled climb (I haven't broached the subject).
