Hopefully it will look more expensive when I get the Reba's on it! Although how expensive it looks it not really why I buy a bike!
Cheers for the comments though.Dawes Tamark DX (RIP)

Does the fork on the cube acid peform well, and is the bike that good or not?0
-
Forks are definitely the let down of the Cube Acid I think.
I've got an 09 Acid and I've had nothing but problems with them and already within a year, the chrome is blistered to hell and rusting so I'm not happy with them.
Also, when I first started having doubts about the forks I had a look at reviews and user reviews on the net and pretty much all of them were a let down.
I had considered speaking to the shop about them a couple of months ago but never got round to it and they're probably out of warranty by now.
Though to be fair, had a cracking weekend at Whinlatter last weekend on them and I was pretty proud of the bike at the end of the weekend.
Would quite like a slightly wider set of handlebars on mine too. I've got bullhorns on mine coz my hands ache like mad in the normal position and they're great for climbing, but it means when I'm on trail I kind of have to straddle the horns with my fingers and I only get one finger on the levers, so another inch or so would be good.
They are a nice specced and light bike though for the money.0 -
Sorry should have finished answering your question. Rest of the bike is mint, especially the brakes!0

The Dart 3 fork is pretty pap to be honest. Ran mine on for a while on the standard fork, but soon upgraded to a Recon fork which is far better
Fork is definitely the weak link2014 Whyte T-129S0 -
Had the bike for nearly a year now.
Added so First AIr Forks, Fat Albert Tyres and an Easton Monkey Bar (700mm) and Stem (70mm), all these components have really improved the handling!
