Some pretty good pictures of most of the team kits here:

Ignore the fact that they're trying to flog the kit, the pictures provided are nice.

I'm kind of liking Cofidis one.
It's a little like wrestling a gorilla. You don't quit when you're tired. You quit when the gorilla is tired.

Cofidis one is a good improvement. I like it!
  • No AG2R - my favourite kit of 2009 but seemingly impossible to buy in the UK.
    Cannondale Supersix / CAAD9 / Boardman 9.0 / Benotto 3000
  • I do like that Liquigas kit. Lime is ace. + I have a lime green bike.

I like the Francaise Des Jeux kit, nice & simple & not trying to be too flashy

I might get some AG2R shorts and a Fuji Servetto shirt - brown and beige, lovely!
  • I'm liking the Cofidis kit, but then I always have. There's something a little bit late seventies retro about it I think. The FDJ kit is pretty much the same as always, but still nice. I've gotta say that it's a toss-up between Sky, CDE and Cervelo for me this year with Bradley and Co probably just edging it in the style stakes.
Let's close our eyes and see what happens

Pastel colours are coming into fashion anyway.

The old neon '80's stuff is already on its way out.

'Tho' IMHO the blue shorts are better than the white ones. They use them for the classics I think.

Horror! They'll all be wearing beige or taupe!
I thought the idea was to stand out in the peloton and for the helicopter shots.

    True.

However, I doubt the up-to-speed-with-fashion riders will continue to have neon yellow sunglass frames etc.

I was hoping for at least one pistachio kit.

Supposed to be the colour of 2010.

I should put down that copy of vogue...

Bit of a better view of the Cervelo kit compared to the promo shot they released; I actually think it's better then I first thought and not to far off last years belter of a kit. Bike looks nice too :D.

I'm quite glad theres no concensus here - or we'd all be in the same kit out on the roads !

The BMC and Radioshack kit is too similar in my opinions - you have to look at group pix twice to tell. And with Lance and Cadel on board you'll see a lot of these team together, esp in the Giro and Tour.

On to BMC, Cadel's WC kit isn't a good development from the BMC standard. Mapei always did a great job at incorporating Italian champs (Bortolami, Tafi) colours and more recently the Belgian champs (DeVolder and Tommike). OTOH, Cadel's kit looks like an abortion - is this Swiss flair? The black panels on his shorts should be red in my view. http://www.cyclingnews.com/races/santos ... tos/101461

No clue that he's on the same team as the 2 guys next to him. Also, after a long time with Gaerne it looks like he signed a contract with Diadora.

  • The BMC world champs one is a shocker... not sure I like what they have done there.

Now that is one wikid kit. I mean, Hincapie would make a kilt look cool, but this is great.

Since it's his company doing the kit you know he had a hand in developing the US Champ look.

Now, what to do with Cadel. More white a la Cipollini would be a start.

I suppose the question is, "would you wear it". Whilst I've never really been one for donning team replica jerseys, both the Cervelo and Sky kits are stylish/understated enough to filter through to the leisure market. That said, I liked last year's Cervelo kit better.

BMC Worlds kit is awful, but then again the recent trends has been to go over the top - I blame Bettini. Rainbow stripes on every single price of kit, even shoes, glasses, bike paint job, gloves etc isn't very classy.

QuickStep's kit looks OK, esp the Belgium Champs jersey.

The Belgian Champs Jersey always looks good, but is it near enough the same who ever the team and sponsors are.

I quite like the Sky kit, and I'll probably buy it. However I probably would have also bought it if it was the Astana strip!

I hope the Sky kit, which goes on general sale is slightly more generous in terms of fit - the TdU riders' kits literally look sprayed-on!

    Wow, that is all wrong:

    http://www.cyclingnews.com/races/santos ... tos/101867

Positionwise he certainly looks short lenthwise - his hands are on the hoods but his back is as erect as a commuters. The frenchman next door looks more typical but I have to say that Cadel's bent elbows and relaxed shoulders would certainly be more confortable over 4/5 hours.
