Are there any major differences between the Reba Team fork and the SID Team fork? Clearly the SID is lighter but are there any other major differences?

Reba's stiffer and can take up to 210mm rotors (vs 180mm for the SID).

Edit: assuming you're looking at the equivalent 100mm travel QR model, there are also Maxle and 120mm travel versions.

personally i don't notice any excessive flex in the new sids. Rather fond of them tbh.

Does depend a bit on use though, i do the odd drop off to transition on the sids, and get a bit of air, but would want to be doing it too regularly tbh.
  • You can remove the internal spacer in a Reba team to get 120mm travel.Might not need it now but might be worth knowing should you change frames in the future.

If you don`t need the travel get the SIDs.

The Sids are lighter and I think the main reason for this is the that the Sids have slightly different lowers, you will notice the rebound knob in on the Sid in recessed.

I have Reba teams and my friend has Sid teams, I have rode both. In a blind test I doubt you would be able to tell them apart.

If weight is an issue then go with the Sids if money is an issue go with the Reba Teams.

If I had my time again and money was no object I would probably go for the Sid Teams but only for one reason, they're slightly lighter.
