Ride a Lapierre Spicy 916 and racing all 3 no fuss '10's' and relentless aswell as the selkirk marathon this year.
Did one of teh '10's' last year and relentless and used my spicy.
Its 12.5kg....................is that too heavy for a bike for this use do you think?

Depends on if you can ride it uphill or not?
DO you have another choice in your collection?0 -
you can race with what ever you want. I guess on paper its a little heavier compared to a stereotypical race bike but don't let that stop you from having a go.0

fitness and geometry are much much much more important than a little bit of weight.0

Yup. But then if you had an Anthem X or something, there's little doubt you'd lap faster. Are you wanting ot be competitive?
But 12.5kg isn't that heavy, surprised a Spicy's that light actually, that's good going.Uncompromising extremist0 -
Wanting to be reasonable competitive.
Thionk its down to me at teh end of the day. Just need more stamina on teh climbs as it smokes on teh downhill!!!Specialized S Works Venge
