    I would hesitate to put forward that it is the rider that should maybe questioned. :shock:

    I mean, freezing conditions, lack of salt, coldest winter on record....

    No other alternative but to cycle...only the minor roads are affected but I hate Black Ice.

    I do feel better for getting that off my chest.

    4th this week!

    Looking to the weekend for temperatures rising and winter's icy grip on my fave part of the day (going home at pace) will be back on the cards.

    In the meantime: AAAAAARRRRGH!!!!

    No alternative - Public transport takes just under 2 hours door to door (13 miles) and costs money (as it's before 9 sodding 30 you can't get the 'value ticket' and it ends up costing 7-8 quid.)

    Should only be one more day as the weekend looks a lot more promising.

    Yes - If there is one reason to won a cheaper bike, it's winter commuting.
