Sitting indoors waiting for my new Elixirs carbons and grips to turn up for the Marin, everytime i hear a van I rush to the window like a 7 year old, only to feel rather dissappointed that its not... then back to the kitchen table I trudge.......:lol:

I took the day off work to fit them/go for a ride :(

    Ahhh, the eternal wait

Expect them any time - don't leave the house! (they will actually arrive at 5.30pm)

  • Typically they probably will. I really wanted to go for a ride/bed brakes in, it willl be dark by then and I don't have any lights at the moment (on the list for this year)

You'll be gutted when they turn up and you realise you should have bought Formula R1 brakes instead!

you will be gutted when you see the note saying they tried to deliver after the sneek assault on the front door to put it through the letter box without disturbing your day.

Meh - not paying an extra £100 on brakes that are no better stoppers. ..... plus I like the look of the Elixirs.. at 20b its not going to matter having a couple of extra grammes on it

Spent way too much money on that bike as it is - you think Im Rockerfella or something??

Been waiting a week for a pair of waterproof 3/4L shorts from Merlin not their fault they dispatched last Thursday, But i got a tracking number for royal mail in the dispatch e-mail however when i put it in i get the message: Recorded Signed For™ items are only tracked after the item has been delivered. Depending on whether the item was sent first or second class, this may be a few days after posting. Please try again later! WTF what good is a tracking number that's only tracked AFTER the package has been delivered !!! what good is that, once the package is in my hands do you really think i'll need R/M to track it for me !!!! No wonder R/M are going down the pan ????

one good thing about Sweden is that i know they will put a note through the door and that i can collect it from the local supermarket up till 10pm that day or any of the next daysfor upto 3 weeks.

The UK could learn a thing or too from the Swedes, the depo is in a scummy town a way away, I don't like going there without an armed escort and full body armour with the option of Air support

    Gggrrrr
  • Well........ :?

My Ritchey grips turned up? But no brakes?

The grips were ordered the same night as the brakes but after... the postie just knocked with only one jiffy bag.

I hope the brakes will come by van, in which case it means more waiting in :(

Now if you'd ordered the Formulas, you'd have been out riding by now!
