Hello,

Me and five friends are going to wales for my stag do this weekend and were hoping to do a ride at Coed Y Brenin, anyone got any idea of the weather conditions there at the moment and is the course still open.

Cheers
Simon

but could be OK for the weekend if you are lucky

  • Myself and 4 mates are going to stay near CYB this weekend too. It's been booked for ages (40th Birthday).

Last time we all went away we went to the Lakes and couldn't ride Whinlatter due to floods
This time CYB is shut because of Snow - one natural disaster after another!
We were planning on doing the Beast but they shut it.
We were pallning on going to the Forest Cafe but it's shut this Jan.
    :x

On a positive note the forecast is warmer from now on with heavy rain Fri / Sat so with any luck the place will be open and the ice will have gone. It'll be wet and muddy but at least we'll be out riding.

Doing Dragons back with any luck.
Mongoose Tyax Super 2008 with just a few upgrades...
  • Its my stag do and also has been booked for ages. We are also hoping to do the dragons back fingers crossed. I knew the conditions were not going to be perfect in Jan but its just typical its been the coldest winter for years. Fingers crossed it warms up for sat, rain will not stop us. Also weather permitting hoping to do the Marin trail on Sunday.

  • Made it to both Coed Y Brenin for the Dragons Back ride and also Betws Y Coed for the Marin Trail on Saturday and Sunday. No Snow to report just a bit damp. Did'nt see any other people at Coed Y Brenin. Pictures and Writes Ups will be uploaded to our website this week.
