I've got a Selle SMP strike TRK saddle for 30quid from CRC. I like it - very comfy - but it does seem to favour a more upright riding position i.e. it's not as good when on the drops. I want another SMP saddle, a lighter one, but the selle website just confused me.

So....which SMP saddles can you guys recommend from experience. I'm of average proportions & tend to ride 40-80 milers at the weekend. I am after a more performance version of the TRK really (the old TRK will go on my commuter by the way.)

I would consider another ergonomic saddle but it has to be kind to my family jewels as I've had a few numbness issues (which the TRK solved).

Thanks.

I have a Glider. Unlike ordinary saddles there is not really an obvious horizontal. You start by leveling th e highest point at the front and back and with trial and error lower the front until it suits. The lower your bars or when using clip-ons the lower the front needs to be. If you look at the the little people symbols on the website or in the brochure you will notice that they get fatter for the bigger saddles like the Pro. Then its a case of choosing the amount of padding you require. I chose the Glider cus it was the most padded for a small arse person. I'm not 100% convinced that I have found the right saddle yet, it still might find its way onto Ebay.
