it may not be competitive with the vw tdi & bmw x3 and when it gets stuck in the sand its hard work to get her out but she flows quite well going straight over yumps and the exhaust note is greatness

anyways anyone else been watching the dakar rally? im still working through part 2 of the season highlights of Australian v8 supercars on motors tv

Check out these pictures some amazing shots in there!
Apparently it costs about €15,000 to enter. Could someone lend me some money..... and a lorry...It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

Some awesome pictures there. Bored of my Edge 705, I want the GPS they use on the Dakar
The bikers should get more credit than they earn, riding bikes over the terrain they do for the duration of the ride.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0 -

It's lost something since the move to South America. Started off as Paris - Dakar, then it went from various places in Spain to Dakar and now it's in South America.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

How that can get so little coverage is beyond me, would you rather watch those racers, or F1?Now that we are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak and not to please ourselves. ROMANS 15:10 -

Whytepeak I agree, I don't know why it doesn't get any coverage! It looks amazing, and I bet it's fascinating to watch.
It does remind me of This thoughIt takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

sorry yep its on eurosport. i have the sky+ box. have to be careful as they do a 23minute ish one and a 49minute ,both of the same stage. so its better to set record series of the 49minute one. apart from motors tv its the only channel id watch.0

I read Charlie Boorman's book on the Paris Dakar when he entered and it was quite an eye opener to just how brutal it actually is. Even himself, during one of the later desert stages he took a bad fall and, not wanting to quit, rode the second half (100+miles) with one broken wrist and on the other hand a dislocated thumb.0

watched that on TV out here."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
