What bike are they going on? 2.1s are nice fast rolling XC tyres, 2.25s are wider and more trail sized...0

They would be going on my Focus hardtail. I do like the Continentals, and they do suit the type of riding i do. Just sometimes they don't seem to grip as well as i would hope. Like when i am riding past the pikey site and they have been tearing up and down the trail on their latest 'finds' . From their dwellings it prob looks more like im using a Turbo Trainer when i am actually going hell for leather and making no ground ! :oops:0

NN in 2.1 are more like a 2.0.2006 Giant XTC
2010 Giant Defy Advanced
2016 Boardman Pro 29er
2016 Pinnacle Lithium 4
2017 Canondale Supersix Evo0 -

I went from MKs to Spesh Sauserwinds - they are utterly brilliant allrounders.0

The 2.1 NNs are like having elastic bands on your rims. Suitable for lighweight HTs and/or XC whippets but too race orientated to be all-rounders. The 2.25s are much more trail friendly and with a 2.4 up front you will be able to go over/through anything.0

Sauserwind Control 2Bliss, slightly heaver than the S-Works versions 480g vs 530g but I felt the 50g penalty was worth it for the extra puncture protection of the thicker carcass.
You get change from £37 for a pair and they're tubeless ready0 -
have you looked at maxxis medusas? really grippy and fast!0

where can you get sauserwinds at that price?0 -
I'm getting very few punctures even in my S Works Sauserwinds. Less than my MK Protections in fact.
I just keep the pressures high - they roll very well but still manage to grip well in mud.
Got mine for £38 for the pair.0 -
I am a big fan of scwhalbe tyres but the nobby nic isnt the best of them, it sucks down a lot and doesnt roll too fast, the rocket ron however is very good. i use ralphs in the mud, its more fun slipping about a bit! ;o))0
