Yesterdays ride on the SDW.
Finally got round to going out in teh snow yesterday. Did about 20 miles mainly on the road, but as you can see from the pics it was still pretty snowy.
The pics are from near the top of Butser on the SDW. There were loads of difts about 4 foot high, it was getting latish and I didn't have lights with me so we didn't go right up to the top and then down into the qep.
The decent down a very snowy North Lane was good fun, I just dropped the saddle and coasted down but it was very sketchy in places
Those are taken from the junction of the SDW and the road heading towards Butser proper. It was ridable, but with loads of people in 4x4 and pulling sledges we ended up pushing.
