Temporarily back on the commute! :-)

I'm needed back at our site in Essex for a few months on a part time basis, so I'll have a couple day a week on the bike

The ride was crazy, at least on the Essex end. The compacted snow on the less well travelled roads was, interesting. And the roads into our site - basically well frozen and compacted snow were just plain ridiculous. This is the first time, apart from riding my road bike through mud with 23c slicks, that I have ever felt my rear wheel spin with every pedal stroke. Madness.
Anyways, I can't say how good it is to be on the bike again after a week of being car-bound. It is so awesome to enjoy some SCR over London Bridge, breathe fresh air*, enjoy that sense of adventure.
