air fork help

hi ive just brought a bike with a air shock but need some advise on adjusting it

i know it is the dual air version but i dont understand positive and negitive pressure
please help

It should have two valves, one on the top, one on the bottom. Hopefully they have given you a shock pump. Attach the pump to the valves and pump them up both to the pressure that is recommended for your weight. Hopefully they gave you an instruction manual with a chart of weight or pressures, or there will be a sticker on your fork.0

The weights on the fork are a terrible guide - might get you in the right ball park, more often way too firm unless you like running next to no sag.
Try 25% sag.

how do you deflate the fork without spraying oil everywhere0

did that but the positive chamber still spits it everywhere0
