I live next to a main road, and for some strange reason I've been hearing more suped up cars on the roads. It might be because there's less traffic around so you can distinguish them.
But I'm pretty certain some drivers are enjoying slipping all over the place. I really can't believe "sane" adults want to endanger their passengers, cyclists and other drivers.CAAD9

Out on my ride today. I was on a back road, lots of ice & snow on it because it hadn't been gritted. A woman with her kid in the car came towards me. She had a fag in one hand holding the steering wheel and was holding her mobile to the ear with the other hand. Clever....0

drivers are simpy people in cars - just as cyclists are simply people on bikes. its people who are stupid. i've seen cyclists on their phones on icey roads too....the bicycle is the most efficient machine ever created: Converting calories into gas, a bicycle gets the equivalent of three thousand miles per gallon...0

Can top that.. A woman overtook me last weekend on a load of slush, over a crest on a blind bend with a young child in the back. And honked at me for having the nerve to be on the road.
I've seen loads of people on phones this week too. A bloke in work has an old Audi Quattro, though, and he's been like a kid at christmas all week!"In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"
