I have been given a new Zipp 606/404 rim by a friend who has quit the sport. Its a clincher . I would like to build it up for timetrial use, Can anybody recommend to me a suitalbe from hub , 20 spoke , preferably black in colour and suitable spokes for the same. Looking forward to your info and ideas.

Your rim will probably be a 404. 606 was the name of a combo of 404 front, 808 rear.
    Try looking here
Probably best to speak to a proper wheelsmith...

    dt 240 hub? sapim spokes?
  • Pmp hubs are reasonable cash and are well engineered(Italian).Tune (german)are ultimate hubs but will need more servicing if your into high mileage.DTswiss 240s are a very good all rounder.you could also look at Royce hubs which are engineered here in the uk.Its wether you want the ultimate bling or light weight reliability really.i have Tune hubs on my MTB but for a higher milage bike i would opt for PMP,Royce or bust the bank with DT swiss its your call.

PMP I reckon. Where you can actually buy them though, I have no idea.
I'm only concerned with looking concerned
