I'm looking for a pair of SPD shoes which are a bit more weatherproof than most, which seem to have a lot of breathable panels on the top and therefore let in water.

I'm not looking for fully waterproof winter boots, and have been considering the Shimano MP66, but would be interested in any other recommendations?

Bear in mind that Shimano shoes have a narrow fit - others, like Northwave are wider so worth finding out what brands fit before worrying about models.

Thanks guys. I have tried overshoes, but find water gets in the top unless I wear tights, which I generally don't.

Got some sealskinz now which are great but would still like some more protection.
