Coffee stop in Shere, surrey?

Anyone got any suggestions for an indoor coffee stop somehwhere round that area?

I'm fed up of freezing on the downhill when you leave The Barn at Newlands (plus they take ages to serve you) and it's too cold to sit outside the shop at Peaslake at the moment.

    There is a tea rooms in Shere. But quite pricey.

    Yeah, isn't there somewhere like the Lucky Duck tea rooms? It's on the right, opposite the post office, if you're headed up the hill towards Hook Lane.

    Stopped in the White Horse pub last winter, nice roaring fire and all. Was a week day though so quiet.

    I think I know the one, but it's been shut every time I've ever looked at it, which is usually quite early.

    Had a look at the comments on other sites and I reckon I'd be better off having a whip round for a patio heater at the Peaslake bus stop.

    All a bit academic in this weather unless I can find snow chains in a 700x25 size!
