Should I use my Giant TCR 2005 frame with upgraded groupset?

I am considering an upgrade from my current Giant TCR Euro, which has 2005 Centaur. I cannot see any compelling reason why a new frame would be materially better - the 2005 TCR was already under 1kgi - so I was thinking of getting a new groupset, probably Chorus, to hang on my current frame. Have I missed any compelling rational reason that would prompt me to replace the whole bike?

    Why do you want to upgrade? As you said, it's still a very good bike.

    If it were me, I would keep the Centuar, and put the money towards a new wheelset.
