BB measurements - confused
Ok, so I'm getting a new BB for my new chainset, but have a few questions about the measurements.
I can see that the shell width on my current one is 68mm, but i can's see any indication of the spindle length and can't think of any way to measure it accurately. And would I need to get the same length for a double chainset as for a single?
cheers

is it square taper/isis/octalink?
is it Shimano/Campag?
what is your chainset - double/triple/make/model?
axle length doesn't tend to be on the BB itself, so it's just a case of measuring the length with a ruler.Facts are meaningless, you can use facts to prove anything that's remotely true! - Homer0 -
I'm going from Shimano square taper Triple to FSA Isis Double0

if you look on the fsa website, they recommend 108mm width isis bb for a road doublemy bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0

All ISIS doubles take a BB with and axle length of 108mm, irrespective of brand. .0

ok, that makes it easier, thanks0
