New A600 spds - much difference to the A520s?

I know they're "proper" road pedals, but i'm just about to order a set of A520s (CRC are doing them for £30 and I don't want to buy new shoes as well - i'm new to road & already have spds for mountain bike, but I digress...) however I recently saw some pics of the new A600 ultegra level spds and thought they looked quite cool, but was slighty surprised when I saw the rrp is £80 - anyone out there tried both? Seems a big jump in price for a ~30g weight saving (ok, they are nicer looking) or am I missing some vast performance increase factor somewhere?

Cheers!

comparing rrp with rrp theres about £30 difference over the a520's and as you say they appear to be almost identical

A530's are better than both, for me anyway

Are the A530s the ones with a platform on one side? I thought about them, but wasn't sure if i'd ever use the platform side as i'm used to spds on the road - do you find they come in handy?
