Hi all and let me start by thanking you in advance for your helpfull comments.
I have a Ltd Ed boardman carbon and need help/advice on new tyres for it, based purely on the fact i don't like the looks of the tyres and they are cheapo ones, could you recommend any tyres for me to change to that would be an improvement in performance.
Sorry if this is a frequently asked question!
tyres fitted are vittoria rubino's.
Thanks Loxster.

8) Highly regarded tyres as well, although you may want to stick with the current ones until summer as there's more debris on the roads so more likely to ruin tyres in winter.....winter beast: http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr34 ... uff016.jpg

there is absolutely nothing wrong with Rubinos - they are very good tyres. if you want something lighter, buy Rubino Pros. Pointless fitting summer race tyres like Michelin Pro 3s at this time of year...0 -
I would ask if you plan on racing???? If not, there isn't much point in putting on expensive race tires. To what end??? You'll simply have more flats and that's no fun.
Plus I would definitely wear out the tires you have on the bike now THEN put new rubber on. All this is moot, of course, if you have a bunch of money burning a hole in your pocket. In which case, have at whatever you want.0 -
