Meant to post this earlier but forgot.

Did anyone else watch The Gruffalo over Christmas?

Best programme on the BBC all year. Kids just watched it again this morning and I love it. One of my all time favourite kids stories animated and acted really well.

Am I alone on this one?

my gf's favourite book and she's watched it about 10 times on sky plus since christmas :D
  • very good, but the gruffalo had the wrong accent. East End Gangster is the correct one, as any fule kno.
  • Robbie Coltrane beats any East End Gangstaaa, Fact!

Can't imagine the Gruffalo ever saying "SHAT IT YOU SLAAAG!"

Forgot to record it, but have read it my kids many many times. In fact we have most of the books in the series

Kids loved it and so did the adults to be honest.

Compulsive tinkerer....my ideas far far outway my ability and that makes things costly !!
  • Brilliant it was. But as before its a bit repetitive, but thats just the story and as its for kids its easy and lovable.

    +1

We are currently having the stick man nearly every night!

Can't understand how some people don't read their kids stories - it's great fun!

The smartest giant was my daughters favourite. We even have the CD that we played in the car when the 'are we there yets' started.

Both kids are a bit too old for them now
