Calling all commencal super 4 owners

Got some unexpected money over the xmas period so i think it's time for a new bike.

I have been looking at one of these

Just wondered what peoples opnion's of them are. I useally ride a medium (i'm 5'11ish) but after reading reviews on the bike it sound's like they are a small bike. Can anyone shed any light on this for me.

Funny enough i bought that bike 2 weeks before Xmas from Evans too.

I'm 6'0 with a 32" leg and bought a medium. It could be argued by some it's a fraction small, but i prefer a smaller bike than a big beast. I tried the large and it was just too big a reach on the bars etc.

As for the bike, it's perfect for me, but depends on what you want/like from a bike. It rides a lot like a hardtail in many ways. The length and geometry are short and squat, with very low bars compared to my mates CUBE/FSR (one has a small FSRComp and his bars are about same height as mine.)

This was perfect for me as i loved my Specialized just wanted some rear bounce to go with it.

THe brakes are about the worst component i've found, they do the job but are not amazing.

They don't come with pedals so i did a good deal on a set of DMR V12 mags.

Sadly you're in Cornwall it seems so a bit far to come and try it out for size.

don't have anything handy to measure it with sorry mate. Bigger than my 25.4 bars is about all i can tell you LOL.

That`s strange, my medium 09 Meta 5 had a 27.2 seatpost, the 2010 has a 31.6. Funny how the Supers had the 31.6 on the mediums in 09.
