Today i finally got round to fitting my new Selle Italia SLR Kit Carbonio Flow saddle
Because it contains almost nil padding compared to my old saddle I have had to raise my seat-post by around 3 cm. Upon doing this I have noticed these scratches.
Not too happy beacuase at best it ruins the whole look now at worst i may have to replace the damn thing :x

Thin smear of clear nail varnish?Neil

Looks just like a mark from the clamp. Unless there is an obvious cut into the material I wouldn't worry.0

Nail varinish and T Cut - a little patience and it'll look as good as new0

Move the light bracket down? Hey presto the scratches are covered and forgotten about! You live and learn. At any rate, you live0

I wrap a turn of insulation tape around my seatpost - that way I can tell at a glance if its slipped, and when I reassemble the bike after flying - its easy to set the saddle height.
Do that and it will cover the seatpost scratch. Easy.0
