I'm tempted by the North Sea Cycle Route might be a bit longer than your 300 though.
(edit) ok twice as long but if you cut off the east anglia leg?Neil

I rode Durham to Grantham as part of an E2E a few years ago, still have the route sheet is it's any use to you. Pretty direct route, using mostly B roads, with a few minor roads and A roads. Easy to navigate and apart from a couple of short sharp climbs over the North York Moors it was all easy riding.0

Just to say thanks to all who replied , we managed 302 Miles in 3 days London to Peterborough, Peterborough to York, York to Newcastle.
We stayed in Travelodges overnight , with no support vehicle posting clothes back and forth, raising £3,000 for some sophisticated Medical Equipemnt HRM's
It was my first 100 miler, indeed I did back to back 100 milers, including 125 miles on Day 2, then to be received by 1,300 people in Gateshead International Stadium last Saturday.
Total ride time was 21 hours 33 minutes 30 seconds
