Mine was only slightly more than that and it utterly brilliant - for me!

Specialized Phenom SL - ti rails, carbon bits, very light, super comfy.

charge spoon - seen as you have the budget, go for the ti version..
or SDG bell air RL - i use this and its unbelievably comgy, like the spoon but moe padding, very, very good. again, i think its only about £40 for the cro-mo so ti may be within your budget

I love my WTB Laser V and it was dirt cheap and way more comfortable than a spoon.

but saddle preference is just so personal because arses are all different. Sit on a few in a big bike shop if you can.
