Anyone else been watching / listening to the cricket? Never in doubt, why is test cricket so boring?

  • I have and I'm surprised England have managed to hold out today. Normally you can rely on South Africa to show great application and determination. That's twice in a row now that England have shown that they can match South Africa in that respect. They can't lose the series now, one up with one to play.

Cricket's only boring to people who don't understand it. Many would say something similar about cycling.

I love test cricket, the tension builds over a couple of days. When Smith was in blasting runs after England's first innings collapse it looked like it could only go one way. 20 / 20 may be short term excitement over a couple of hours but give me the proper version any day. Sure, you get some boring matches but that is usually down to the pitch. There's been some crackers in the last 6 months.
