30mm vs 50mm

I'm considering upgrading from some Reynolds Solitude Clinchers (31mm) to some carbon 50mm tubulars (planet x or second hand). However, I was wondering whether the difference would actually be worth it? 19mm extra doesn't seem much, and there wouldn't be much of a weight difference either. Handling wise I know tubulars are better, but I'm running ultremos with latex tubes so I doubt that increase would be shocking either. Would I be better just waiting a bit and getting some 60mm wheels, or a zipp 606 type partnership?

Cheers in advance, and apologies for another question about wheels.

    Depends what you are doing.

I got a 606 setup as a compromise - I will use them for RRs and TTs...

Racing wise a mixture of crits and rolling road races, with some testing on the side too. I might be able to borrow something deep for the tts, not for the other stuff though.
