24 Hours of Summer Solstice, June 26-27, 2010
&
24 Hours at Albion: Hot August Nights, August 28-29, 2010
Why register your teams now?:
Better campsite. Teams that register early get priority.
Better pricing. If you register prior to January 15 you will get better pricing than 2009! We have actually dropped the price for those that get in early, and have graduated price changes throughout the year.
Only $150 holds your team spot, you still get the savings and better campsite.
Commit with Chico early and if you need to resize your team we'll make the changes at no cost and rebate funds if necessary up to 60 days prior the event.
Chico Racing's 24 Hours of Summer Solstice has sold out for the past 7 years, don't miss out!
New No Night Category
Not comfortable about riding in the night or purchasing or renting lights - enter the 3-4 Person No Nite Category and get all the same 24 hour benefits without the night riding. You will still get all the 24 hour benefits, however your race will finish at dusk and restart at dawn. Your team will get a total of approximately 14 hours of riding at Solstice and 12 at Hot August Nights. Perfect category for first time 24 hour riders!
Albion Hills is receiving trail revamps!
The GTA's most popular riding destination is getting even better!
A trail and venue grant, secured be Albion Hills, is putting money into the trails, signage, and parking areas to improve an already superb riding destination. Improvements to doubletrack, including culverts and building up low spots will dramatically increase the sustainability, accessibility, and keep riders and hikers drier while in the woods. Other areas of improvement will be better signage, on-trail maps, and re-vamping of some of Albion's older singletrack. Singletrack will be designed to resist erosion and the effects of increased traffic, while maintaining a fun and dynamic riding experience.
