Hi people,
I've got a Campag Centaur front Mech on my bike, 53/39 and am looking to change it to a compact.
Looking at what I need to do, is it just a case of getting a campag compact crankarms/set and use the same bottom bracket that is already installed (its also campag)
Also, As I run a 9 speed set, am I ok getting a campact compact crankset that is sold as '10 speed'?
Any other thnigs I need to look out for?
Thanks in advance,
Dru.

All you will need to do is shorten the chain to the correct length, everything else will be ok.
One thing to note though, if you are running square taper all chainsets up to Centaur use a 111mm axle, Chorus and record use 102mm.0 -
I have an aluminium compact Centaur crankset for sale if you are interested. It was bought May 2008 and was used for about 10-11 months.Pegoretti
