Was thinking of getting these. I'm impressed with the weight reduction but not the other advantage the site says they offer...

I bought a set but never mounted them, Ended up selling them to Rich-Ti, so he might be able to offer an opinion. They are very thin, hence the light weight (93g for mine). Because of this some people have had to add washers to the chainring spacers to get the correct spacing, and therefore correct shifting. There's a few threads on weightweenies worth reading.0

ive actually run some of the extralite rings on my old xtr chainset (mtb).set them up right they shift great.they are very light yes...but they are better rings out there for the money.0
