I've been on the wine/whisky/wine/beer so apologies for any pisstyping....

Been on the Team Sky website. Yes, Brit wooh! Brad's going to win the Le Tour if you like...

but Ed Boasen-Hagen he's got a whole 2 water bottles of whoop-ass waiting to be opened, don't you think? Barring injury this lads got classics and tours with his name on them already. Too nice to interview, but I like him. I can't wait to see what they let him do over the next 2 or 3 years. Hope he doesn't end up in the train the whole time working for some lesser mortal.

Fin.

You may have got more of a response in the Pro Race section!

    IMO EBH has monster potential.

For my own totally selfish reasons, I really hope he does give the classics a propper good crack. Nothing more exciting than the serious heavyweight talents smashing each other in northern classics.

He could become as exciting and Spartacus

I think EBH will be the main fella being led out for the sprints just like Cavendish (and Greipel) at Columbia.

I can't see him ending up "in the train the whole time working for some lesser mortal."

I'd be disappointed if they tried to make him into a sprinter... he just has too much potential in other areas.

As others point out, he obviously looks like a classics rider, but what about GTs? He was one of the strongest riders going into the third week of the Giro last year, and at times he was climbing in the high mountains alongside the elite GC riders.

Besides, what's the point of being a sprinter these days? He's fast enough to win sprints in Poland or Britain, but in the TDF against Cavendish? Doubtful.

Could be in the Jalabert mould. Capable of winning the tougher bunch sprints, green jersey and contending in the GTs
