Quick question on the Jayco Bay Cycling Classic

Why are the riders in the race listed as riding for teams I've never heard of? Are they associated with their local 'club' team or something?


For instance, the winner - Chris Sutton is listed a riding for Skilled/Lowe Farms - but he's a SKY rider.


Can someone explain to me?

    I think it's just a local thing, there aren't enough riders from each team to form a proper team so the riders take part under the name of smaller teams formed just for this series. They still ride in the shorts of their main team sponsor.
