Guessing I must have water ingress into my rear brake cable as it's been frozen solid since the weekend...

Been at it both ends with GT85 with no luck :x
Any other ideas before I broach the idea of leaving it in the kitchen overnight to thaw with my mrs...?

    Pour hot water over it
Fixed gear for wet weather / hairy roadie for posing in the sun.

    What would Thora Hurd do?
  • hehe - simple when you think about it

was concerned about getting more in there only for it to freeze worse still - will give it a go, free it up then have a go with GT85

I would leave it in the kitchen with your mrs. Her body temperature will melt the ice without the need for pouring water over it. You will get a great nights sleep, and if you set the alarm in the kitcken at the right time, you will have a fully cooked breakfast waiting for you.

Then you get the benefit of a nice, body temperature bike for your commute.

What a superb Mrs you have.

I'd imagine that after suggesting this the atmosphere would be frosty enough to freeze all the other cables...
  • get some new cables!
  • have you licked it?

 I just have visions of the result. "Oh pith"
