White handlebar tape

FWIW I have a blue bike and use yellow tape and bottle cage. Even used to have a yellow saddle. Still use a set of yellow rims. I was very fashion conscious at the time.
What does this have to do with white tape? Nothing, nothing at all. Can't imagine using white tape. Guess I agree with "soveda" that's it's "naff" even though I'm not sure what "naff" means(U.S. you know).0 -
Mine was meant to have black. It came with white, matching the saddle. I huffed.
Next moring, I thought... wow.
It does look the dogs.0 -
I went for white Hudz (I wanted black, but they had white and red. I wish I'd gone for red). I now have my black Hudz, but thats because of oil from my job in a bike shop.
White looks great when you see the TDF on T.V, with all the shaved legs and sexy bikes flashing past the camera. Looks stupid on a cold ride, mid winter, with that dull brown colour that it would inevitable be by then.
I'm such a sucker for that shaved leg and sexy bike image, I'll end up with white bar tape by mid summer...jedster wrote:Just off to contemplate my own mortality and inevitable descent into decrepedness.

Even if you have a yellow saddle?
I was tempted to stick some on my black/yellow CR1 Pro but thought better of it. Way too much yellow as I've got yellow and black Vittoria tyres as well.0 -

White tape, saddle, pedals, shoes, socks, gloves, helmet, gilet, shorts (sometimes, with black bits where you need them).
Bar tape must be cinelli cork though.
Bike has white bite in the graphics as well as on the wheels.
I buy my tires based on utility though.God made the Earth. The Dutch made The Netherlands

I agree absolutely with Mr Face, the Fiz Microtex white is the top tape. The tour guys can't be wrong...white is right!0 -
White looks the best, and yeah it should match the saddle0

Nutz....... it`s obviously gotta be red, to match the Mich Pro tyres (and you can`t see the saddle when you`re sat on it)Jens says "Shut up legs !! "

If your getting the tape to match the saddle for looks then surely your not riding it enough. As JohnnyAllez said, you can't see the saddle when your riding it!
Mines red to match the tires and rims0 -
