Hi

This maybe a bit thick but here goes: Kona Kula has a "Kona Race Light 7005 Aluminium Butted Frame"

Is this just a plain old 7005 aluminium double butted frame?? i.e. the same as what the old Cinder Cone was made out of around 1999-2001 as i have an old cinder cone frame from 2000 lying in the garage.

If not then what is so special with race light 7005 double butted aluminium?

Thanks

    ask Kona.

it may be a different mix or different butting or different sizes or,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I have a feeling that kona have downspecced some of their bike frames on certain models as years have gone by.

Maybe I am wrong but that's the thought I have at the moment.

Marketing anything "race light" is probably good for business, even though it might be a case of Marathons to-> Snickers

You can't beat a marathon. Not too sure on those snickers..not sure of what exactly but they remind me of an old chocolate
