threaded the B shell - where does it go from here?

I have been sooper proud of getting my Ellsworth Moment for £400 but found out this weekend that it came with a threaded BB shell. This was not disclosed so I might call the seller and rant like a git which really won't make any differnce, but will make me feel great.
So where does it go to be repaired? Now it's not cross-threaded as such. On closer inspection the thread has just been flattened, sort of, ground down. Can it be re-threaded?

lbs can do that for you. They have the proper tools to restore threads that have been completely shafted by the most ham-fisted amateur mechanic. Not that I've ever needed them of course *ahem*0

I'll start with them then! Making the call now...0

Amazingly, that threadless BB is still working. I was dubious about a £15 BB if I'm honest but it feels good and solid. Thanks to Neil at dotbike.com - otherwise known as Wooliferkins.
Did you get one for your P7 Soul Boy?0 -
Could the frame not be helicoiled? Not sure of the technical in's-and-out's of it all, but my understanding is that the frame would have new threads inserted in it. Might be worth a shot.0

Not as yet, but definately a road I'll go down should I wish to get it back up and running. Glad to hear thats worked out for you, I almost cried when the shop told me my frame was dead. Though I do now love my Soul 8)0
