Juicy 5 pistons sticking

Hi guys
I have taken the callipers off of the frame and attempted to loosen / clean the pistons by squeezing the brake and then pushing the pistons back. This seemed to be working but the problem is that on both front and rear callipers one piston (i.e. one out of the 2 sides) seemed stuck into the calliper so that on squeezing the brake it didn't project outwards.
Can anyone suggest a method of freeing them up at all to get them moving?
Also, have heard people talking of using some lube to keep them running freely. What can people suggest? I appreciate that pad contamination might be an issue.
Thanks in advance for any help. Jeff

If you use a plastic tyre lever to hold the moving piston back into the caliper whilst squeezing the brake lever this will usually free up the stuck piston. Take care not to damage the piston! Especially the central pin.
I've used the DOT oil from the bleed kit to lube the piston (with pads removed) - not sure this is correct though!0
